Enid Knockum
Our Founder
Enid Knockum's remarkable journey is a testament to the power of resilience and determination. Born into humble beginnings as an adopted child, she faced early challenges that would have deterred most. However, Enid's indomitable spirit led her to overcome obstacles, including encounters with the criminal justice system, shaping her into the strong woman she is today.
As a mother, Enid's nurturing heart guided her through the monumental task of raising seven children, instilling in them the values of hard work and perseverance. Her dedication to her family fueled her relentless pursuit of success.
Today, Enid Knockum stands as a shining example of triumph over adversity. A thriving businesswoman, she has carved her path to success through hard work and unwavering determination. Yet, her heart remains devoted to a cause dear to her – educating troubled youth. Enid is deeply passionate about empowering young individuals who face challenges similar to those she once did, offering them hope and guidance to overcome their struggles.

The Summer Camp
Royal Academy hosted a summer camp for families in need. The lives of children and parents alike were greatly impacted with LOVE!!
The summer camp provided a safe and supportive environment for families who may not have had the opportunity to participate in such activities otherwise. The children were able to engage in various outdoor activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and games, while parents were given the chance to relax and unwind.
The LOVE that was shown by the staff and volunteers at the Royal Academy was evident in every aspect of the camp. From the warm welcome the families received upon arrival to the delicious meals that were provided, it was clear that every effort was made to ensure that everyone had a great time.
Many families expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to attend the summer camp, with some even saying that it was a life-changing experience. It was heartwarming to see the joy and laughter on the faces of the children as they made new friends and tried new things.

Holiday Families
Royal Academy has adopted 10 families and provides Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gift every year.
This annual tradition shows the Academy's commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those in need. The families who receive these donations are selected based on various factors such as financial need and personal circumstances. The Academy works closely with local organizations to identify families who would benefit from this assistance. The Thanksgiving meals include all the traditional fixings, and the Christmas gifts are tailored to each family's individual needs and wishes. The Academy is proud to continue this tradition and hopes to inspire others to give back to their communities in whatever way they can.
The Academy's dedication to serving the community extends beyond the holiday season. Throughout the year, they partner with local schools and organizations to provide resources and support for students and families. This includes tutoring and mentoring programs, school supplies, and scholarships for higher education.
